This is not a new train but a faster train between Yesvantpur - Karwar replacing the existing Train. The new train bypasses Mangalore and directly enters Konkan Railway saving precious time on loco reversals thus providing a faster connectivity to Coastal Karnataka Regions. What is more exciting was the Inaugural Train was operated by Woman Loco Pilots and Guard on the eve of International Women's day making the vent more special. The new train n will run as Jansadharan Special between Karwar and Vasco as there is no place to park the rake at Karwar. The 16517/8 Bangalore - Kannur Express will continue to run all the days via Nelamangala and provide connectivity to Mangalore . The Train halts at CHIK BANAVAR - CHANNARAYAPATNA- HASSAN - SAKLESHPUR - SUBRAHMANYA - KANIURU - PUTTUR - BANTAWALA - SURATHKAL -MULKI - UDUPI - BARKUR - KUNDAPUR -BYNDOOR -BHATKAL - MURUDESHWAR -HONNAVAR - KUMTA - GOKARNA- ANKOLA - KARWAR.
